Role Description: This is a part-time, hybrid Fashion Designer role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a mix of office and work-from-home flexibility. The Fashion Designer will create performance and recovery apparel concepts, from initial sketches and mood boards through to final technical specifications and samples. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Researching trends in activewear
- Sourcing and evaluating performance textiles
- Developing cohesive seasonal collections aligned with the brand vision
- Collaborating closely with manufacturers to ensure accurate fittings, quality construction, and on-time delivery
Qualifications:
- Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, with a portfolio demonstrating performance or activewear-oriented concepts
- Proficiency in working with Textiles, particularly technical or high-performance fabrics, including fabric selection and application
- Experience with Fitting and garment construction, including participation in fit sessions and translating feedback into pattern or design adjustments
- Relevant degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to use design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar) to create technical drawings and presentation boards
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset, with clear communication skills and comfort working in a hybrid setup across in-person and remote teams
