Resolve West is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead our next chapter. We are a respected, independent charity working across Bristol and the surrounding area to help people and communities resolve conflict and repair harm. Since 1987, we have delivered high-quality conflict resolution, restorative justice, hate crime interventions and training, working in partnership with local authorities, housing providers, the criminal justice system and the voluntary sector.
This is a significant leadership opportunity for a values-led, strategic and collaborative CEO who can build on a strong foundation, support a committed team of staff and volunteers, and guide the organisation through a changing funding and commissioning landscape. You will work closely with the Board of Trustees to strengthen sustainability, deepen impact and ensure Resolve West continues to make a meaningful difference to the communities we serve.
This appointment follows the retirement of our current CEO after 23 years, offering a rare opportunity to build on strong foundations, long‑term contracts and a committed Board of Trustees. The CEO will provide strategic leadership across governance, finance and partnerships, while nurturing a positive organisational culture and supporting sustainable growth in a challenging funding landscape.
This role would suit an established charity CEO or a senior director ready to step into a first chief executive position.
