Resolve Recruitment Services are searching for a skilled Workshop Mechanic to join a busy and professional garage environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanic seeking a stable, workshop-based role with consistent hours and a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within a workshop environment
- Diagnose mechanical and technical faults
- Specialise in cam belts, clutches, and general vehicle repairs
- Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (required)
- Minimum 6 years experience (desirable)
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Salary
£20 per hour (£41,600 per annum based on 40 hours). Overtime paid at time and a half. Salary reviewed every 12 months. Monthly pay (around the 1st of each month). Discounts on MOTs and parts.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
40 hours per week
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Additional Information
- 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (April - March)
