Salary: £28,116.80 per annum – 10% weekend enhancement – 50% enhancement on Bank Holidays
Hours: Full-Time – 42 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 3 long days one week, 4 long days the next, working alternate weekends on a monthly rota.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Carer or Care Team Leader looking to join a supportive organisation that values high-quality, person-centred care and offers genuine career progression. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting residents to live safely, comfortably, and independently while leading and inspiring a team of care staff to deliver exceptional standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support the care team on shift.
- Deliver and promote high-quality, person-centred care.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans.
- Promote residents’ independence, dignity, and choice.
- Take responsibility for the residential unit in the absence of the senior manager.
- Ensure safe staffing levels and support the day-to-day running of the home.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate care records and ensure compliance with care standards.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care (essential).
- Previous experience as a Team Leader, Senior Carer, or an experienced Care Assistant ready to progress.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.
