Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Children’s Residential Manager to lead the opening and ongoing management of a new 3–4 bed children’s residential home in Fishponds, Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, experienced leader to take full responsibility for launching and shaping a new service supporting up to 4 children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Register with and maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations
- Lead the setup and day-to-day management of a new children’s residential home
- Provide strong and effective leadership to the staff team
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care, and outcomes for young people
- Develop and implement individualised care plans
- Manage budgets, staffing, and operational requirements
- Create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children with EBD
- Work closely with external agencies, families, and professionals
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Registered Manager role (essential)
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s residential care standards
- Proven experience supporting children with EBD
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
