We are currently looking for a Minibus Driver for a Nursing setting in Fishponds. The client is part of four nursing homes in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We provide top quality, best value, holistic care to our residents, and are an established company with a good reputation for the care we provide. We take pride in the quality of care we provide and the environment we provide it in.

Based on 18 hours per week over 3 days of 6 hours per day - Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities and duties for the Minibus Driver role are:

  • Working alongside the Activities staff to provide safe transportation for our residents to offsite activities
  • Safe boarding and securing of residents and their wheelchairs on the minibus
  • Assisting with any other tasks as requested

Requirements for the Minibus Driver role:

  • Enthusiastic, organised and creative individuals to work as a member of our friendly team delivering high standards of activities to our residents.
  • Must be at least 25 years old and hold a Cat D1 Driving Licence
  • Previous experience in the role would be an advantage

Although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be an advantage:

  • Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment.
  • PSV licence holder

Pay: £12.80 per hour with 10% enhancement at weekends and 50% extra on Bank Holidays.
