- Registered Manager to lead a brand-new
3-bed therapeutic children's home in Bristol, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to establish and shape a high-quality, trauma-informed service, leading a dedicated team committed to achieving positive outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Register with Ofsted and manage the day-to-day operation of the home.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing care team.
- Deliver exceptional, child-centred, trauma-informed care.
- Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding legislation.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and external professionals.
- Drive the home towards GOOD or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
- Manage staffing, budgets, rotas and overall service performance.
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Minimum 5 years' residential childcare experience.
- At least 2 years' experience managing a children's residential home.
- Experience supporting children with SEMH and complex trauma.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and Children's Homes legislation.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
