Resolve Recruitment Services are searching for a skilled Workshop Mechanic to join a busy and professional garage environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanic seeking a stable, workshop-based role with consistent hours and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within a workshop environment
  • Diagnose mechanical and technical faults
  • Specialise in cam belts, clutches, and general vehicle repairs
  • Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (required)
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience (desirable)
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Salary & Benefits

  • £20 per hour (£41,600 per annum based on 40 hours)
  • Overtime paid at time and a half
  • Salary reviewed every 12 months
  • Monthly pay (around the 1st of each month)
  • Discounts on MOTs and parts

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
  • 40 hours per week
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break
