We are looking for a Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) to join us — from newly qualified up to 7 years’ PQE. Both full-time and part-time applications are welcome.
You’ll handle a varied caseload of private family work, including private children matters, divorce, and financial remedy cases, as well as drafting pre and post-nuptial agreements. Thanks to the firm’s nationwide reach, your client base will extend well beyond the North West.
We’re genuinely flexible on working arrangements. You can be based at our Lancaster head office, work remotely, or split your time however suits you best — the balance is negotiable depending on experience and following an appropriate induction period.

Skills and Qualifications
- Confident advocacy experience in the family courts
- Experience working to Lexcel standards
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A clear, approachable communicator who can explain complex law to lay clients with ease
- Able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and work as part of a team
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding billing and time-recording targets
- Experience of TOLATA / cohabitee cases
- Resolution membership
- Law Society Family Law / Advanced Family Law accreditation
