The Team & How You’ll Work

You’ll report directly to the CTO and work closely with the Product and Design teams, as well as our AI team, including the Head of AI & Data. Rough workload split: ~80% hands-on feature delivery, ~20% architecture and technical design. We work in 2 week sprints, with daily small refinements after standup and a retro at the end of the sprint. We take technical debt seriously and dedicate space for it in sprints where possible.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build AI agents to tackle complex enterprise problems, from information extraction to smart summarisation and more.
• Prioritise privacy and security at every level to safeguard our customers’ data.
• Drive technical quality by delivering robust, maintainable software that meets high engineering standards.
• Explore new frameworks, models, and approaches to keep us at the cutting edge.

You Might Be Our Person If

• You have deep expertise in Python.
• You have hands-on experience building and running Python applications in production cloud environments.
• You’re confident designing systems with security, performance, and scalability in mind—particularly for B2B use cases.
• You’ve proven experience developing AI-driven applications using tools like OpenAI or Anthropic.
• You know how to balance speed and quality, delivering quickly without compromising long-term maintainability.

Bonus Points (But Not Deal-Breakers)

• Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, Aurora, etc.).
• Familiarity with building AI agents using LangGraph or OpenAI’s Agents SDK.
• Exposure to compliance and governance in enterprise software (ISO, SOC2, or similar).
