Quality Inspector Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement to be able to read technical drawings
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Be able to use measuring equipment in line with job requirements, e.g. Micrometre, Vernier, shadowgraph and gap/under head gauge
  • Complete paperwork applicable to product
  • Ability to verify that each process has been completed correctly and operations booked
  • Use Syteline system to competently record conformance/non-conformance parts
  • Lifting required up to a weight of 15KGs
  • Be able to identify priority batches for sorting

What we’re looking for in a Quality Inspector

  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications and use relevant measuring equipment
