We’re a UK engineering and fabrication specialist working across energy, nuclear, defence, aerospace, and environmental sectors. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an Estimator/Buyer to join our team.
The Role
- Prepare accurate estimates for bespoke, one-off engineering projects
- Source and negotiate with suppliers & subcontractors
- Read technical drawings/specifications and assess project risks
- Purchase materials to agreed/quoted prices
- Work closely with engineers and project teams to deliver cost-effective solutions
About You
- Engineering degree (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Metallurgical or similar)
- Experience in heavy engineering/pipework projects
- Knowledge of welding standards (ARC, MIG, TIG) and ISO 9001 systems
- Strong background in estimating and buying for bespoke projects
