Resolian is seeking an accomplished scientific leader to join our Immunoassay Bioanalysis function in the UK. This is a senior role for an individual with deep scientific expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for developing people and services at the forefront of the industry. Working closely with the Operations Director, Business Development, and the wider senior leadership team, you will ensure operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth of the function while embedding our people‑centred culture.
As Sector Manager – Immunoassay Bioanalysis, you will provide scientific, operational, and strategic leadership for a core bioanalytical function. You will have full accountability for quality, delivery, resources, and commercial performance, while acting as a visible leader internally and externally. You will be a member of the Resolian UK Management Team and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the business.
Responsibilities- Provide scientific, operational, and strategic leadership for the ADA Immunoassay Bioanalysis function
- Lead and develop teams within a people-centred, high-performance culture
- Ensure scientific and technical standards meet or exceed industry and regulatory expectations (GLP, GCP)
- Own the cost centre and deliver against financial, profitability, and KPI targets
- Lead resource planning, capacity management, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure efficient, compliant project delivery, acting as Study Director / PI / Analytical Project Manager when required
- Maintain audit readiness; resolve audit findings and CAPAs within agreed timelines
- Collaborate with Business Development to grow existing and new client relationships
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and support cross-site harmonisation
- Represent the department at key meetings, audits, and industry conferences
