Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Bioanalytical Principal Investigators (BPIs) to maintain up-to-date and accurate project information and timelines.
  • Responsible for ensuring the following information is up to date for your portfolio of projects:
  • Project resource requirements (aligned with agreed project budget)
  • Timing and status of invoice milestones; indicate when customer invoices can be raised
  • Tasks requiring support outside of the immediate project team e.g. QA audits, Pharmacokinetic analysis, Data Management
  • Status of all project milestones
  • Maintain oversight of the delivery backlog and awareness of all live and upcoming projects within your portfolio.
  • Use resource plans to provide updates to Operations Managers and Business Development on when new work can be scheduled.
  • Work with Team Leaders to review team forecasts and ensure resource allocation is aligned with project budgets and is appropriately scheduled to meet monthly revenue targets.
  • Provide accurate reports on a variety of data including resource demand profile, customer deliverables, revenue forecasts and KPIs as requested.
  • Support BPIs with customer communication – draft emails, take meeting minutes and share information on project timelines.
  • Advise on the flexible movement of resource across teams where it will have a positive impact on customer delivery and/or revenue recognition.
  • Understand the risk profile in the backlog, via the Red-Amber-Green (RAG) rating of milestones, and work with BPIs to flexibly schedule project work to fill any gaps resulting from project delays, ensuring monthly revenue targets are not negatively impacted.
  • Apply a detailed understanding of future demand to advise operational managers on resource planning.
  • Raise invoices when required, once work is completed.
  • Track customer KPIs, reconcile contracts/budgets, deal with customer queries related to Project Planner responsibilities (e.g. invoicing or budget questions).
  • Liaise with colleagues from other Resolian sites globally to ensure customer experience is consistent and thorough.
  • Skills, Education & Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in biological sciences, or related discipline.
    • Experience: minimum 0-2 years related experience in project management in a regulated laboratory or research environment. Experience in a CRO preferred.
    • Other: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. Must possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations change. Working knowledge of computer software (MS Office, MS Teams, Excel, and database experience preferred).
