We are looking for a Contracts & Tenders Manager to join our team in Harwell on a permanent, full-time contract.
Role Overview:
The primary role of the Contracts & Tenders Specialist is to support and coordinate ResMed UK’s NHS tendering activities and contract administration, ensuring compliant, accurate, and timely submissions in line with agreed processes and guidance. Reporting into the UKI Country Manager, this role works closely with Sales, Commercial, Legal, Operations, Product, and Delivery teams to secure successful NHS tenders and manage contracts across frameworks and direct awards. The role supports Resmed’s growth in medical devices and digital health by ensuring tender documentation and contracts are prepared accurately, risks are identified, and issues are escalated appropriately.
Responsibilities:
- Tender Management (Medical Devices & Digital Health): Support assigned stages of NHS tender process including opportunity identification, qualification, bid strategy, authoring, submission, and post-submission clarifications. Ensure full compliance with NHS procurement requirements, frameworks, and evaluation criteria, following guidance and procedures. Draft clear, compelling bid responses that articulate clinical value, patient outcomes, and commercial competitiveness, coordinating inputs from subject matter experts and using approved content where available. Coordinate inputs from Sales, Product, Clinical, Operations, and Legal teams.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Support contract review, negotiation and execution activities of contracts across NHS frameworks and direct awards, using templates and approved legal and commercial positions. Maintain contract records, track renewals and variations, and support administrative updates to contract registers. Partner with Account Managers to support contract performance and commercial review meetings. Identify potential contractual risks and escalate non-standard terms for review.
- Governance, Compliance & Readiness: Maintain a central bid library with case studies, certifications, and standard responses. Respond to due diligence, supplier onboarding, and Information Governance requirements. Monitor NHS procurement policy changes and escalate updates or changes as appropriate, helping ensure ongoing tender readiness.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
- 5+ years in digital health and medical devices, with demonstrable success in winning NHS tenders.
- Strong knowledge of NHS frameworks and platforms: G-Cloud, LLP, Atamis, Proactis, Jaggaer, etc.
- Strong writing, commercial analysis, and project coordination skills.
- Understanding of NHS SLAs, SoWs, GDPR, and information governance.
- Comfortable engaging across internal teams and with NHS procurement and contract leads.
Preferred:
- Proven negotiation skills.
- APMP or equivalent certification.
- Familiarity with CRM and bid platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Legal, commercial, or procurement-related qualification.
