As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will simulate attacks to identify and report security flaws. You should have the ability to take initiative, learn quickly on the job, and deal with issues as they arise in a high-pressure environment. You will be an enthusiastic tester with a few years of experience, passionate about working in the security industry, and constantly researching the latest vulnerabilities to stay at the industry’s leading edge.
You must have achieved your CTL/CSTL qualifications, hold SC clearance, and be eligible for Check Status certification. Note: You must be a UK citizen with current SC Clearance. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, SC vetting will be required.
Role Overview
As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be a highly skilled information security specialist working with both government and private sector clients. You will contribute to Resillion’s industry leadership in penetration testing, participate in thought leadership, and help improve internal testing and reporting processes. You will deepen your technical knowledge in application or infrastructure testing and advance your career through certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engagements including IT Health Checks under the government CHECK scheme
- Perform peer reviews and write detailed reports
- Support pre-sales activities with scoping and technical inquiries
- Maintain a database of findings
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Represent Resillion at events, deliver talks and presentations
Required Skills:
- Current SC Security Clearance
- CTL/CSTL and CRT (preferred) or QTSM certifications
- At least 5 years of industry experience
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools (both commercial and open-source)
- Proficiency with Linux and virtualization platforms
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Excellent communication and time management skills
