As a results-driven Sales Development Representative Manager, you will be both the strategic leader and the founder of our new SDR team. You will have the unique opportunity to build this team from the ground up and shape it into a powerful engine for our sales. Your expertise in outbound sales and your hands-on mentality will play a crucial role in driving the success of our company by generating leads.
What You Will Do
- Team Building: You will recruit, train, and coach a team of talented SDRs, guiding them in developing their sales skills and achieving their individual goals. You will foster a culture of success and collaboration within the team.
- Strategic Planning: You will develop and implement outbound sales plans, scripts, and campaigns specifically aimed at reaching organisations that develop software. You will analyse results and continuously optimise strategies.
- Performance Management: You will set clear goals and KPIs for the team and individual SDRs. You will closely monitor performance and provide regular coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Pipeline Development: You will ensure a steady flow of qualified leads, carefully managing and passing them to the sales team. You will also actively contribute to lead generation to further strengthen the pipeline.
- Collaboration: You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless lead generation and handover. You will also coordinate with HR to ensure new BDRs are onboarded quickly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience: You have proven experience leading an outbound sales or BDR/SDR team, ideally in a software services, cybersecurity, or managed IT services environment. Experience building a new team is a plus.
- Results-oriented: You have a proven track record of exceeding targets and a deep understanding of sales methodologies, particularly in a B2B context. You are driven to achieve results for both yourself and your team.
- Inspirational Leadership: You are able to motivate, inspire, and develop a team to achieve ambitious goals. You are a coach and mentor who brings out the best in others.
- Hands-on Mentality: You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and actively participate in lead generation. You set an example for your team and show initiative.
