As a Cyber Security Consultant, your role involves simulating attacks to uncover and report security vulnerabilities. To be considered for the Cyber Security Consultant position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Current SC Security Clearance: You must hold current SC (Security Check) clearance due to the nature of the work involving sensitive information.
- CTL/CSTL and CRT (preferred) or QTSM: Possession of CTL (CHECK Team Leader) or CSTL (CHECK Team Member) qualifications is mandatory. CRT (CREST Registered Tester) or QTSM (Qualified Security Team Member) certifications are preferred.
- Hardware testing & OT Testing preferred
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, demonstrating a strong foundation in information security practices.
- Knowledge of Industry Standard Tools: Familiarity with a range of industry-standard tools, both commercial and open source, for conducting penetration testing and security assessments.
- Linux and Virtualization Skills: Proficiency in the preferred flavor of Linux and a strong understanding of virtualization platforms.
- Technical Diagnostic Skills: Demonstrated technical diagnostic skills, showcasing the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities effectively.
- Attention to Detail and Quality: A keen attention to detail, ensuring thorough and high-quality work in penetration testing and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively conveying findings, writing reports, and presenting to clients.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a high-pressure environment.
