Role Overview
The Scoping & Client Engagement Coordinator plays a critical operational and customer engagement role within the Cyber Security Assurance Testing team. Acting as the central coordination point across customers, Cyber Assurance Testing resources, delivery teams, the Resource Planning Team, and Strategic Business Managers, the role is responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end lifecycle of cyber security testing engagements. The successful candidate will ensure that customer-facing SLAs and internal KPIs are achieved across all phases of the engagement lifecycle, from initial scoping and resource coordination through to peer review, quality assurance, and reporting. The role requires strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, together with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cyber security environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of cyber security assurance testing engagements, ensuring that internal KPIs and customer-facing SLAs are consistently achieved.
- Arrange and coordinate scoping calls between customers, penetration testers, and delivery teams.
- Work closely with the Resource Planning Team to ensure suitably skilled cyber security resources are allocated to customer engagements in line with agreed dates and timelines.
- Track all engagement milestones to ensure Statements of Work, testing activities, peer reviews, quality assurance activities, final reporting and customer delivery are completed on schedule.
- Plan, coordinate, and quality-assure engagements, working with internal teams or subcontractors.
- Ensure all deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Support the preparation and coordination of Statements of Work (SOWs), engagement documentation, testing schedules, and customer onboarding activities.
- Ensure all testing prerequisites, customer access requirements, and supporting documentation are completed before assessments commence.
- Coordinate draft report reviews, independent peer review, and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of technical and customer deliverables.
- Assist in ensuring final reports are securely delivered to customers in line with agreed service expectations.
- Support the continuous improvement of operational workflows, reporting processes, and engagement coordination activities across the cyber practice.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of KPI and SLA dashboards to support operational management and customer reporting.
- Contribute towards improving efficiency, utilisation, customer experience, and delivery governance within the cyber security practice.
- Maintain accurate engagement records, customer communications, and operational trackers within internal systems.
- Handle sensitive customer and operational information professionally and confidentially.
- Ensure all activities are aligned with company policies, information security requirements, and operational governance standards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive data.
- Develop knowledge of cyber security assurance testing services, terminology, and delivery methodologies.
- Build strong working relationships across cyber security, sales, delivery, resource planning and operational teams.
- Support the wider cyber practice through proactive coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational, administrative, and coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities, and tight deadlines within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Comfortable working closely with technical cyber security teams and learning cyber security terminology and processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, or similar collaboration and ticketing platforms.
- Experience producing operational reporting, KPI dashboards, or service delivery reporting would be an advantage, e.g. Power BI dashboards.
- Degree in Cyber Security, Business, IT, Project Management, or a related discipline is desirable.
- Previous experience in project coordination, service delivery, customer engagement, or operational support environments is desirable.
- Interest in cyber security operations, penetration testing services, and client engagement.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo Security Vetting.
