SDET - Automation Consultant - Permanent / Hybrid - London - 2 days per week in Central London

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years address history in the UK. Sadly we are unable to offer sponsorship or the transfer of visas.

• Ensure automation scripts are optimized for performance, reusability, and maintainability.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing to validate business-critical functionalities.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications.
• Automate and execute end-to-end, UI, API, and regression testing.
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless execution.
• Implement robust test data management strategies using JSON, Excel, or databases.
• Generate detailed test reports using Allure, Extent Reports, or Playwright’s built-in reporting tools.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to define testing strategies and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives) and drive quality initiatives.

• Good experience in test automation and functional testing.
• Experience in testing single-page applications (SPAs) and dynamic web apps.
• Hands-on experience with Mocha, Jest, or any other test framework.
• Expertise in Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API).
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber (Optional but Preferred).
