Support Worker / Care Assistant Are you a qualified and experienced Support Worker/Care Assistant who is looking for flexible shifts in a care home setting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Resilience Personnel. Resilience Personnel is a leading recruting agency that provides high-quality and reliable staff to various care homes across the UK. We are looking for agency Support Worker/Care Assistant who can work part time shifts (Long day/Night/Rotating). As an agency Support Worker/Care Assistant, you will be responsible for: * Assisting residents with their personal care needs, such as washing, dressing, toileting, etc. * Supporting residents with their daily living activities, such as meals, hobbies, socialising, etc. * Providing emotional and physical comfort and companionship to residents * Observing and reporting any changes in residents’ health and well-being * Adhering to the agency’s policies and procedures, including compliance, safeguarding, health and safety, etc. To be successful in this role, you will need: * A minimum of 6 months of experience as a care assistant, preferably in a care home setting * A passion for providing person-centred care and enhancing the quality of life of residents * A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as per the agency’s rota * A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement * A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one In return, we offer: * A competitive hourly rate of £12 – £13 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications * A weekly pay system with no hidden fees or deductions * A referral bonus scheme for recommending other nurses to join the agency * A free uniform * A dedicated consultant who will support you throughout your assignments If you are interested in this role, please apply or contact us for more information.
