As a Warehouse Operative, you will leverage your logistics expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third-party warehousing. You will adhere to standard work and operating procedures to ensure duties are efficiently executed and goals are met. Additionally, you will play an active role in driving a continuous improvement culture in logistics processes and help build a customer-focused and service-driven culture at all times.
JOB DUTIES
- Handle 'Goods In' processes, including receiving, checking, and storing goods.
- Maintain adherence to Health & Safety standards in all tasks.
- Pack, move, and prepare goods for shipment.
- Verify and complete related documentation with a strong attention to detail.
- Generate and submit sales reports and other relevant reports as required.
- Work towards and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar logistics role.
- A strong work ethic and the initiative to learn and adapt to processes quickly.
- Experience working with inventory systems and familiarity with basic IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
- A valid forklift license (if applicable to your facility).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and documentation.
