Groundskeeper – Places for People
Are you passionate about the outdoors and take pride in creating beautiful, welcoming spaces? We\'re looking for a dedicated and hands‑on Groundskeeper to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues alike.
Schedule: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily gardening duties including mowing, strimming, weeding, hedge cutting, planting, mulching and gritting.
- Keep the estate clean, tidy and safe by litter picking and clearing waste.
- Report incidents, accidents and maintenance issues to the Head Groundskeeper or Managing Agents.
- Identify and report health and safety or security concerns.
- Remove any items left in communal areas that may pose a hazard or breach safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional, approachable appearance and be courteous to all residents and visitors.
- Uphold confidentiality and respect residents’ privacy at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in grounds maintenance or gardening.
- Awareness of health and safety.
- Knowledge of horticulture.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
