Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong background in building safety, statutory compliance, and residential property maintenance? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance and compliance across a portfolio of a premium luxury high-quality residential development.
The Role
As Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance function on site, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained. You will act as the technical authority for maintenance and building systems while supporting on-site teams and external contractors to deliver a first-class service.
Working closely with operational and front-of-house teams, you will ensure maintenance activities are planned effectively, prioritised appropriately, and completed to the highest standard while minimising disruption to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of building maintenance, health & safety, and statutory compliance across the portfolio.
- Own and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes, ensuring timely completion and accurate record keeping.
- Monitor compliance requirements, inspections, certifications, and risk management activities.
- Establish and maintain maintenance standards and best practice across multiple sites.
- Oversee maintenance technicians and external contractors, ensuring work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
- Manage maintenance priorities, balancing reactive repairs, planned works, resident impact, and business needs.
- Analyse maintenance data and reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead, motivate, and develop maintenance teams, fostering a high-performance and resident-focused culture.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised professional who brings strong technical expertise alongside excellent leadership skills.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience within facilities management, building services, estates management, or a related discipline.
- Experience overseeing maintenance operations within residential, hospitality, mixed-use, residential living, Build to Rent (BTR), or similar operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of building services, statutory compliance, health & safety, and maintenance best practice.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
