We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a premium Build to Rent residential community in Liverpool.
This is a varied role that combines grounds maintenance, facilities support, cleaning, waste management, and minor maintenance tasks to ensure the development remains safe, clean, and welcoming for residents every day.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Carry out routine fire door inspections and accurately record findings.
- Identify and report defects, hazards, and safety concerns.
- Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, and manual handling procedures.
- Maintain equipment and tools in a safe working condition.
- Conduct daily inspections of communal areas including lobbies, corridors, lifts, stairwells, amenity spaces, and car parks.
- Ensure all shared spaces are clean, safe, and well presented.
- Maintain landscaped areas through regular weeding, watering, and grass cutting.
- Keep pathways, entrances, and outdoor amenity spaces looking their best.
- Report larger landscaping works that require specialist contractors.
- Replacing communal light bulbs
- Unblocking drains
- Applying sealants
- Tightening fixtures and fittings
- Basic repairs within your competency level
- Support apartment turnarounds by assisting with cleaning and waste removal when required.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in facilities, grounds maintenance, caretaking, cleaning, maintenance, hospitality, residential, or property environments.
- Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual duties both indoors and outdoors.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
- Good communication skills and written English.
Desirable
- Experience working in Build to Rent, residential property management, hotels, student accommodation, or hospitality.
- Basic landscaping or grounds maintenance experience.
- Fire Door Awareness Training.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
