We are seeking an ambitious and hands-on

General Manager to oversee a prestigious residential portfolio.

This is an opportunity to take full ownership of a thriving operation, leading both the customer experience and the commercial success of the assets.

This is far more than a traditional property management role.

You'll be the driving force behind resident satisfaction, occupancy performance, team development, operational excellence, and the overall success of the community.

Role: General Manager

The Opportunity

As General Manager, you will lead the onsite team and take responsibility for the day-to-day and strategic performance of the portfolio.

You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external leasing partners to ensure residents receive an outstanding experience while delivering strong financial results.

No two days are the same.

One morning you may be reviewing occupancy and leasing performance, and by the afternoon you'll be coaching your team, meeting contractors, resolving resident concerns, or reviewing business plans and budgets.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the overall performance of a residential portfolio.
  • Driving occupancy, rental growth, resident retention, and revenue performance.
  • Creating an exceptional resident experience and ensuring customer issues are resolved effectively.
  • Managing and developing onsite team members through coaching, support, and leadership.
  • Working alongside external agents to maximise leasing opportunities and market performance.
  • Overseeing property operations, contractor management, health & safety compliance, and planned maintenance programmes.
  • Managing budgets, controlling costs, and contributing to business planning and performance reviews.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines commercial thinking with a genuine commitment to customer service.

You’ll likely have

  • Proven experience managing residential properties, developments, or portfolios.
  • A strong track record of leading and developing teams.
  • Excellent customer service and complaint resolution skills.
  • Experience working with contractors and managing operational services.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with budgets, performance metrics, and business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to take ownership and make decisions.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking residential business that values innovation, collaboration, and customer excellence.

You'll be given the autonomy to make an impact, the support to succeed, and the chance to lead one of West London's most exciting residential communities.

If you're passionate about property, people, and performance, we'd love to hear from you!
