We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Leasing Manager to lead the leasing function within a premium residential Build to Rent development. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Leasing professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving occupancy, revenue growth and resident retention.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the resident journey, leading a high-performing leasing team, developing local partnerships and ensuring the delivery of a best-in-class leasing operation. This position would suit someone with a strong background in residential lettings, Build to Rent, property management or hospitality-led environments.
The Role
As Leasing Manager, you will take ownership of the complete lettings process, ensuring a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to move-in and beyond. You will work closely with operational teams to maximise occupancy, enhance resident satisfaction and support the long-term success of the development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full leasing lifecycle, including enquiries, viewings, negotiations, referencing, tenancy administration and move-ins.
- Driving occupancy levels and achieving leasing and revenue targets.
- Leading, motivating and developing a small team of leasing professionals.
- Building strong relationships with local businesses, corporate partners and external agencies.
- Identifying and implementing innovative marketing initiatives to generate demand and increase brand awareness.
- Monitoring market conditions, competitor activity and rental trends to support pricing and leasing strategies.
- Managing digital marketing channels, property portals and social media activity.
- Overseeing tenancy renewals, retention strategies and resident communications.
- Producing performance reports, analysing leasing data and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and operational procedures.
- Supporting community events and fostering a vibrant resident experience.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of commercial awareness, leadership capability and a genuine passion for customer service.
You will ideally have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience within lettings, residential property, Build to Rent or a related sector.
- A proven track record of achieving leasing, occupancy and revenue targets.
- Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships and developing business opportunities.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with performance data and reporting.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A customer-first mindset with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- ARLA qualification, or a willingness to work towards one, would be advantageous.
