The site's audience of over 7 million monthly users is drawn in by a combination of news, editorial, club listings and ticketing, RA-branded events at venues and festivals worldwide, original films and a weekly mix series that has run for 20 years.
Purpose of the role
The Senior UK Partnerships Lead is responsible for delivering RA’s revenue strategy in the UK. You will own monthly and quarterly team targets across ticketing and media, and lead the UK partnerships team to consistently deliver against them.
Key responsibilities
- Work directly with the Director of Revenue to establish and execute growth strategies in RA’s leading market.
- Own delivery of monthly and quarterly UK revenue targets across both media and tickets; forecast performance and course‑correct when needed.
- Lead, mentor and develop the UK team of Partnership Managers and Support Coordinators, providing clear direction, coaching and performance support.
- Account manage a portfolio of top‑tier UK partners across RA’s full offering (ticketing, media, technology, content and events support), delivering best‑in‑class service.
- Support high‑stakes pitches, renewals and negotiations; join key meetings and help close the largest deals.
- Ensure strategically important promoters, venues and festivals are signed up to use RA across the UK.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects across every UK region.
- Ensure goals are delivered across every region in the UK, with regular travel to key regions (e.g. Manchester, Glasgow) to support the team and partners.
- Pitch RA as an events services and marketing channel to promoters, venues, direct clients and agencies.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial leadership experience in partnerships, account management, or sales.
- Proven experience owning and delivering team targets.
- Demonstrable people management experience, with a coaching‑led approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding relationship building and client service skills.
- A passion for electronic music and an in‑depth understanding of the UK industry.
- A data‑driven approach to decision making and strategy.
