We are seeking a database migration engineer to migrate an on-prem SQL Server database into AWS RDS. This is a 2-month fixed-term contract, lasting for the duration of the project and starting immediately.

You must have experience using SQL Server, AWS RDS and related data migration tools. You must have completed successful cloud migrations in production environments without downtime or data loss.

Responsibilities:
  • Consolidating multiple databases onto a single server
  • Setting up data migration and syncing between on-prem and cloud
  • Creating and configuring AWS RDS SQL Server in a high-availability mode
  • Writing documentation and running handover sessions with in-house developers
