This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing service with Resicare Alliance and ICIS Limited. The service focuses on improving young people's emotional wellbeing and psychological functioning, supporting reunification with family environments where appropriate.
Job Purpose
- Provide specialist assessment and therapeutic intervention for young people and families
- Promote a psychologically safe and therapeutic environment
- Liaise with external professionals and mental health teams
- Support service development across the organisation
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions
- Develop and review care and risk management plans
- Act as keyworker and coordinate multi-agency meetings
- Contribute to culturally competent and accessible service delivery
- Liaise with GPs, referrers and other professionals
- Support policy implementation and service improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards
- Participate in service evaluation, audit and research activities
- Provide occasional training to colleagues
- Supervise practitioners (following appropriate supervision training)
Professional Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification in Psychology (clinical, forensic, applied, research, etc.) or recognised therapeutic qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in therapeutic services
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with children and young people
- Minimum 2 years' experience in health and social care
- Experience of working with learning disabilities and mental health
- We welcome applicants from related disciplines (e.g. Social Work, Youth Work) with relevant qualifications
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
Additional Information
- Hybrid role (face-to-face and virtual delivery)
- Travel required across West Midlands or South Midlands
- Monday–Friday (occasional weekend work may be required)
- Monthly management supervision and bi-monthly clinical supervision provided
- Ongoing CPD supported in line with professional body requirements (HCPC, BPS, UKCP, BPC, BACP etc.)
