  • Assisting with recruitment, induction and training of staff
  • Planning and managing staff rotas to maintain safe staffing levels
  • Ensuring high-quality, child-centred care is delivered consistently across the home
  • Promoting and maintaining a strong safeguarding culture
  • Ensuring care plans, risk assessments and behaviour strategies are followed consistently
  • Ensuring the home meets regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards
  • Supporting audits, quality monitoring, health and safety, and operational planning
  • Building positive relationships with families, social workers and other professionals

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent

  • Calm, reflective and resilient under pressure
  • Strong leadership, mentoring and supervisory skills

  • Experience as a Team Leader or Deputy Manager
  • Experience supervising or mentoring staff
  • Experience working within a regulated residential care environment
  • Experience supporting children with complex needs or challenging behaviours
  • Budgeting or operational management experience
  • Full UK driving licence
