We are hiring for an architectural designer (assistant level) with experience using Revit on live projects to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities Of Our Architectural Designers- Working alongside a Senior Designer to understand client briefs and create designs that interpret their needs, motivations and budget for their project
- Designing to gain planning approval first time round
- Working collaboratively alongside a wider team of designers, surveyors, planners and building regulations specialists, leveraging support when required
- Compiling complete planning packages, forms and all associated documents in order to fulfil the needs of the local authority
- Exercising a basic understanding of the technical aspects around drainage, the Party Wall Act, planning legislation, building regulations, on-site potential queries, tendering process, contracts and programmes
- Explorative work utilising AI in architecture
- Working to deadlines and consistently hitting targets

We know that every architectural designer brings something different to the table, but to have the best chance of success in this role, we think you need to have:
- Ideally, experience working on private residential architectural design (not essential!)
- Proficient use of Revit, with experience using the software in practice
- Able to work on numerous projects simultaneously
- Client-oriented
- A genuine interest in working in a non-typical architectural practice environment
Resi are a team of ~70 people, currently based in Oval, but shortly relocating to a shiny new office in a Fora in Elephant & Castle! We have a hybrid work set up where we operate three days in the office (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and two days from home (Wednesday and Friday).
