We’re Hiring For...

We’re looking for two talented designers to join our team in Oval on a full-time, permanent basis:

  • Architectural Designer - working on projects through to planning submission
  • Senior Technical Designer - leading on Building Regulations packages

Both roles require strong Revit experience on live projects. And, for the Senior position, experience in UK based private residential projects.

Architectural Designer - Key Responsibilities

  • Working alongside a Senior Designer to understand client briefs and create designs that interpret their needs, motivations and budget for their project, designing to gain planning approval first time round
  • Prepare complete planning packages, including drawings, forms and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with surveyors, planners and building regulations specialists across the business
  • Apply a working understanding of drainage, Party Wall matters, planning legislation, building regulations, contracts and programmes
  • Contribute to innovation within the studio, including exploratory use of AI within architectural workflows

Senior Technical Designer - Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality, compliant Building Regulations drawing packages
  • Quality check technical outputs to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Act as a trusted technical contact for clients, consultants and contractors
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Proactively contribute technical insight, new ideas and industry best practice across the business

Resi are a team of ~70 people based in the heart of Oval, South London. We have a hybrid work set up where we operate three days in the office (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and two days from home (Wednesday and Friday).
