Are you fed up with feeling like you don’t have the right support to take your career to the next level? Or you don’t get to see enough projects, and spend more time doing admin than advising clients? Do you agree that technology can be utilised to help you and your clients to achieve the best results for their home? Do you want to be at the forefront of new construction methods, like SIPs, or ensuring your customer’s homes are the healthiest they can possibly be by specifying Retrofit measures? Then this could be the role for you.
At Resi, you will have the opportunity to work differently. Resi is the UK’s go-to home improvement architecture firm - we help everyday homeowners design, finance and build their dream home without the stress and, most importantly, without breaking the bank. We are at the forefront of changing a highly inefficient, costly, and frustrating customer experience through delivering high quality projects quickly, affordably and in a climate-considerate way.
Key Responsibilities of our Designers:- Working alongside a Senior Designer to understand briefs, and create designs that interpret client needs, motivations and budget for their project, whilst increasing the chances of gaining planning approval first time round

- Compiling complete planning packages, forms and all associated documents in order to fulfil the needs of the local authority
- Exercising a basic understanding of the technical aspects around drainage, the party wall act, planning legislation, building regulations, on site potential queries, tendering process, contracts and programmes
- Working to deadlines and consistently hitting targets in order to suit the goals of the business, keeping focused on speed, legality and adding value
- Living the Resi values, and holding others accountable to them
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure a successful project brief - this involves bringing questions, solutions and actively seeking the root causes on issues to push improvements for the customer, the role, the process and the company
We know that every architectural designer brings something different to the table, but to have the best chance of success in this role, we think you need to have:
- Good technical knowledge in private residential architectural design (creative) - especially in home extensions and renovations
