Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Commission (DOE)

Location: Brighton

Hours: 5 days per week – Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:30pm, plus Saturday rota (9:00am – 5:00pm) with a day off in lieu during the week.

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential.

This varied role offers the opportunity to combine business development, valuations, property marketing and lettings negotiation, while building long-term relationships with landlords and tenants. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys winning new business, delivering exceptional customer service and being part of a friendly, close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out rental valuations and converting opportunities into new instructions.
  • Proactively generating new business and expanding the lettings portfolio.
  • Advising landlords on rental values, market trends and maximising their property's appeal.
  • Managing landlord and tenant relationships, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Arranging and conducting property viewings.
  • Negotiating tenancy terms, rental offers and move-in dates between landlords and tenants.
  • Preparing tenancy agreements and supporting the tenancy progression process through to move-in.
  • Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation, including Right to Rent and referencing procedures.
  • Working closely with the Property Management team to ensure a seamless handover.
  • Assisting with the management of a small residential property portfolio.
  • Maintaining accurate records using the company's CRM system.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A proven background within residential lettings.
  • A proven track record of carrying out and winning instructions as well as generating new business.
  • Confident carrying out rental valuations and negotiating tenancy agreements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Professional, motivated and customer focused.
  • Comfortable working towards targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • ARLA/Propertymark qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
