Tax Manager – Advisory
Location: Crawley
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9.00am–5.30pm

Are you an experienced Tax professional from an accountancy practice background looking to develop your career within a varied, advisory-led role?
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Tax Advisory team of a highly regarded and growing accountancy practice in Crawley. Working closely with experienced Tax Directors and Partners, you will advise a varied portfolio of SMEs and owner-managed businesses across a broad range of corporate tax matters, with increasing exposure to international and cross-border projects.
This would suit an established Tax Manager or an experienced practice-based Tax professional ready to take the next step in their career. You will need a strong grounding in corporate tax gained within an accountancy practice, although training and support will be available to further develop your advisory and specialist tax knowledge.
The firm offers an excellent working environment and genuine flexibility. Alongside hybrid working, part-time hours may also be considered for the right candidate.
The role will include:
- Providing tax advice to SMEs, owner-managed businesses and their owners.
- Drafting detailed reports and letters of advice across a variety of tax advisory matters.
- Liaising and corresponding with HMRC regarding clearance applications, enquiries and other tax matters.
- Preparing calculations to support technical tax advice.
- Attending client meetings and developing strong, trusted relationships.
- Supporting Tax Directors and Partners on complex advisory assignments.
- Training, supporting and reviewing the work of junior members of the team.
- Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns where required.
