Mortgage Adviser

Hours: Monday – Saturday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (5-day working week with 2 Saturdays per month and a day off in lieu)

The Role

Working as part of a friendly and professional team, you'll provide whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice to a wide range of clients, guiding them through every stage of the home-buying and remortgage process.

The business has established relationships with four large introducers , supported by a dedicated marketing professional who continually generates new business opportunities, meaning you'll spend less time prospecting and more time advising clients.

You'll be responsible for

  • Conducting detailed fact-finds and providing tailored mortgage and protection advice.
  • Advising clients across the whole mortgage market.
  • Building long-term relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Writing both mortgage and protection business.
  • Managing your cases from initial enquiry through to offer, supported by an experienced administration team.
  • Keeping up to date with lender criteria, FCA regulations and market developments.
  • Developing relationships with introducers and generating repeat business through excellent service.

What We're Looking For

  • Ce MAP qualified (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Mortgage Adviser within a whole-of-market or brokerage environment.
  • A strong track record of writing mortgage and protection business.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A customer-focused, consultative approach.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and driven to succeed.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and mortgage compliance.
