Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Are you an experienced Financial Services Administrator looking to join a highly respected and established Independent Financial Adviser practice?

Do you have a solid background supporting Financial Advisers and/or Paraplanners within an IFA environment and enjoy delivering exceptional client service whilst managing the administrative process from start to finish?

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, professional and growing Wealth Management practice based in Eastbourne. Working closely with the Director, Advisers and Paraplanners, you will play an integral role in supporting the business, ensuring clients receive an outstanding level of service and that all new business and ongoing client administration is processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Independent Financial Advisers and Paraplanners with all aspects of client administration.
  • Processing new business applications from submission through to completion.
  • Liaising with clients, product providers and third parties by telephone, email and secure online portals.
  • Preparing client documentation including illustrations, suitability reports, Key Features Documents and valuation packs.
  • Managing adviser diaries, appointments and workflow.
  • Maintaining accurate client records using Intelligent Office (IO) and ensuring all documentation remains fully compliant.
  • Chasing providers for outstanding information and monitoring business pipelines.
  • Processing fund switches, withdrawals and portfolio rebalances.
  • Conducting fund research and preparing supporting documentation.
  • Ensuring FCA compliance and maintaining excellent attention to detail throughout all administrative processes.
  • Providing general office administration and supporting the wider team where required.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Essential: Previous experience working within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) or Wealth Management practice.
  • Experience supporting Financial Advisers and/or Paraplanners.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial services products including pensions, investments, ISAs and protection.
  • Previous experience using Intelligent Office (IO) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritise workload, work independently and manage multiple tasks within a busy environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
