We are looking for a Temporary Full Time Logistic Support Officer (officially titled Cadet Administrative Assistant) based at Suffolk Army Cadet Force Headquarters in Ipswich, Suffolk. Are you an organised individual with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, who is computer literate, able to learn new systems quickly and able to work with minimum supervision? Good communication and inter-personal skills are also required.
Range of tasks include:
• Management of ACF Properties
• Stores Management and Accounting
• SHEF Management
• Cadet Training
• Security
You must have experience of, and preferably be qualified in, Safety, Health, Environmental and Fire matters and Stores Management. The successful candidate must complete the Ammunition Storeman’s course within twelve months of taking up post, if not already qualified. You will be expected to travel throughout the region and be flexible with working hours as some evening & weekend work will be necessary.
This post is for 47 hours per week including lunch breaks. This position attracts a current salary of ÂŁ31,179 p.a. plus lots of additional benefits.
