What you'll do
- Manage the day to day operations of a team of credit hire and bodily injury adjusters.
- Be consistently dependable in achieving or exceeding goals and overcoming obstacles.
- Implement and maintain best practices for claims handling.
- Monitor and analyse claims data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
- Align team with client and customer expectations of the claims process.
- Serve as a resource for escalated claims.
- Responsible for accuracy and adequacy of all aspects of claim reserving.
- Work with team managers to develop strategies to mitigate fraudulent claims.
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage professional growth.
- Execute on performance management; attract, hire, retain and provide high level of training.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex claims related issues.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of management experience, preferably in a remote environment.
- 5+ years in insurance claims experience, preferably in motor with bodily injury & credit hire experience.
- Deep understanding of motor claims, personal injury and credit hire.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and commitment to compliance.
- Comfortable with technology and evolving claims systems for better efficiencies.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Integrity, ethics, and accountability in handling confidential information.
