Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will have a broad hands-on role with main duties consisting of:
- Assist in compiling monthly and yearly financial statements.
- Prepare duty reports and calculate VAT returns.
- Work closely with both internal and external auditors.
- Group consolidations.
- Manage master data within the ERP system and contribute to system upgrades and new module implementations.
- Conduct reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, encompassing both general ledger and sub-ledger accounts.
- Understand significant balances or discrepancies to furnish accurate explanations to the Group Finance Manager.
- Aid in drafting statutory accounts, including relevant notes and disclosures.
- Analyse corporation tax and R&D initiatives.
- Verify compliance with financial authorities, policies, and protocols.
