We are working with a fantastic business based in central Manchester to recruit a part qualified Management Accountant. In this role, you will play a key role in the transformation and development of a growing division within this large group, and help develop the finance function brand across the group. This organisation is currently undergoing a number of key projects to transform the business, in which you as the successful candidate will get exposure to.

As Management Accountant your role will consist of:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts for large division
  • Preparing reports to be delivered to key stakeholders and the wider business
  • Putting together packs which provide insightful information to be used for decision-making processes
  • Posting accruals and prepayments
  • Analysing financial performance on a weekly and monthly basis, with results presented to Senior Management
  • Being a key point of contact with external auditors
  • Supporting with key projects as required
  • Developing the cost accounting process and control
  • Identifying efficiencies and being proactive in improving and changing processes for the better

If you are:

  • Part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience
  • Experienced in producing management accounts
  • Strong analytically with a passion for data
  • Well versed with partnering and building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Organised and communicate effectively with people
  • Ambitious to continue with your studies and want to really make an impact in a business that offers growth and progression
