About the Role

Resourcery Group are partnering with a growing Manchester based client to recruit aHR Administratorto join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 3-6 month temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and provide professional HR support across the full employee lifecycle during a busy period.

Working remotely, with occasional meetings in Manchester, you will play a key role in ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with current UK employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue contracts of employment, offer letters, and other employment documentation.
  • Assist with the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.
  • Process and manage sensitive and confidential HR information in accordance with GDPR.
  • Support payroll processes by ensuring employees receive the correct pay and benefits.
  • Produce compensation and benefits comparison reports for the Executive Team.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion while supporting health and safety initiatives across the organisation.
  • Ensure employment policies and HR practices comply with current UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Provide administrative support to senior leaders on matters including salaries, redundancy, and employment law.
  • Support HR projects and undertake general HR administration as required.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or HR Officer role.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Available to start immediately.
  • Experience working within the education, charity, or not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification, or currently working towards it.

Working Arrangements

  • Primarily remote working.
  • Occasional attendance at meetings in Manchester.
  • Immediate start preferred.
  • Temporary role 3–6 months.
