Management Accountant

Management Accountant | £40,000-45,000 | Skelmersdale

We are recruiting for a part qualified/finalist level Management Accountant to join a business based in Skelmersdale.

In this role, you will be responsible for reporting and analysis across the business, constantly seeking ways to improve reporting and processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

1. Producing monthly management and weekly reports
2. Assisting in budget preparation and providing variance analysis with commentary
3. Preparing weekly and monthly forecasts
4. Generating reports using financial and non-financial data to support key decision-making
5. Analyzing costs and profitability using analytical tools and commercial insight
6. Partnering with departmental heads to provide information that drives performance and profitability
7. Continuously improving processes and driving efficiencies

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in a fast-paced management accounts role
• Strong Excel skills and excellent analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build stakeholder relationships
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
