An opportunity has arisen to join a large business based in the heart of Cheshire, providing excellent products and services within their specialist sector. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will have a broad, analytical set of responsibilities in a highly visible role within the business.

  • Support the production of regular commercial and financial reports to provide insight into business performance.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to aid decision-making and monitor key metrics.
  • Provide analysis of sales, margin, and volume trends to support forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and group reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Deliver timely cashflow and performance reporting to support effective financial management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting processes for greater efficiency.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis to support commercial initiatives and respond to business queries.
  • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to review results, highlight risks, and recommend actions.
  • Support subsidiary and group reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with internal and external deadlines.
