An opportunity has arisen to join a successful business based on the Wirral. With revenue showing consistent growth over the past 2+ years, a role has been created to provide further support to the Financial Controller and broader finance team.
Ideally suited to an Accountant who is midway through or perhaps recently completed their CIMA/ACCA exams, you will have a broad range of responsibilities with exposure to the broader group:
- Production of monthly management accounts for multiple trading entities
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Oversight of supplier payment runs
- Work closely with AP & AR to manage cash positions
- Exposure to fast moving FX queries
- Use Excel and ERP systems to produce business specific monthly reporting for internal distribution
- Assist the Financial Controller on external audit & tax queries
Candidate profile:
- Ideally part qualified/fully qualified
- Strong background within complex reconciliations
- FX exposure highly beneficial
- Excellent communication skills along with a desire to improve/challenge existing ‘norms’
