Resourcery Group is delighted to be partnering once again with one of the North West's most respected and values-driven organisations to recruit a Rent & Service Charge Accountant.

You'll be joining a collaborative, supportive finance team where your expertise will genuinely influence business decisions, improve processes and add real value across the wider organisation.

This is far more than a transactional accounting role.

You'll take ownership of rent and service charge accounting, working closely with colleagues across Finance, Housing and Operational teams to ensure robust financial controls, accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.

You'll also play a key role in annual rent reviews, service charge budgeting, reconciliations, financial analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and improving processes.

You'll ideally be professionally qualified (or working towards qualification) with experience in management or financial accounting, strong reconciliation skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.

Previous experience within housing or rent and service charge accounting would be advantageous, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with strong technical accounting skills and in particular

Cost Accounting and the ability to quickly develop specialist knowledge.
