Key Accountabilities

  • Working as a contractor supervisor on a client's wind farm.
  • Daily tasks include:
    • Liaising with the client regarding ongoing works
    • Preventative planning
    • Reporting to the Project Manager
    • Organising the workload of the on-site team to meet schedules
  • Contractual requirements - which typically include completion of 6 and 12 month maintenance checks, bearing lubrication, functional test and cleaning.
  • Returning turbine to service after fault conditions will involve:
    • Mechanical and electrical fault finding
    • Fault resolution
    • Component replacement
    • Functional testing - whilst ensuring compliance with HSQE as set, pursuant to the provisions of the client contract and in accordance with RES’s policies and procedures
    • Controlling calibration of tooling/lifting equipment and inventories
    • Reporting the necessary information to support the efficient operations of the HSQE management systems.
