The Position
Responsible for running and coordinating the day-to-day administrative duties of the organisation, the candidate must excel in organisational skills, communication skills, and the capacity to manage several tasks or requests simultaneously. We are looking for a junior role with professional and exceptional time management abilities, and the ability to work with precision and attention.
Accountabilities
- Contacting suppliers for product availability and lead times
- Liaise with third party logistics companies and dealing with import and export documents
- Following up on shipments
- Raising purchase orders & issuing all purchase orders to suppliers
- Set up new supplier accounts as and when requested
- Keep records of stocks inbound & outbound
Skills
- Computer literate with good experience of Microsoft Office, Email and Internet
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to multitask
Experience
- Experience within a purchasing/logistic role would be good but not essential
- Experience of SAP would be good but not essential
