This is a hybrid role, requiring candidates to attend the Kings Langley office three days per week.
The position provides critical support to global sales leadership and regional managers by ensuring commercial excellence and data‑driven insights. The position combines commercial process support (proposal and contract template management and support, tender coordination) with sales analytics and business system administration (Salesforce reporting, revenue tracking, and forecasting). The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, and Operations to enable accurate forecasting, streamlined processes, and improved sales productivity.
Accountabilities- Sales Analytics & Business System Support: Administer Salesforce CRM, ensuring data integrity, user compliance, and process optimization. Develop and deliver sales performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs for global and regional leadership. Collaborate with the Financial Controller and Analyst to produce monthly revenue reports, variance analysis, and forecasting updates. Monitor and improve data quality across accounts, opportunities, and pipeline stages. Support quarterly and annual revenue forecasting cycles, providing insights and trend analysis. Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline workflows within Salesforce and related tools. Support monthly reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of consolidated reports for leadership review.
- Commercial Support: Manage and maintain proposal templates, contract templates, and pricing tools to ensure consistency and compliance. Accountable for accuracy of proposal and contract templates/boilerplates, enabling sales leaders and managers to create their own proposals/contracts efficiently. Support the overall bid process through document control, formatting, and quality checks, ensuring professional and compliant submissions. Support the tender process, including document preparation, submission coordination, and adherence to deadlines. Assist sales leaders with customer documentation requirements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company standards. Track and maintain contract status, collaborating with legal and finance teams.
- Sales Processes & Tender Management: Understanding of proposal development, contract lifecycle, and bid coordination.
- CRM Systems: Strong knowledge of Salesforce functionality, reporting, and data governance.
- Revenue Forecasting & Analysis: Familiarity with forecasting methodologies, pipeline management, and variance analysis.
- Commercial Documentation: Awareness of compliance standards, pricing structures, and contractual terms.
- Business Reporting Tools: Knowledge of Excel (advanced), and experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Industry knowledge/experience in the renewable sector is a plus.
- Analytical & Detail‑Oriented: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and ensure accuracy in reporting and documentation.
- Process Management: Skilled in managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders in a structured manner.
- Communication: Clear and professional communication with global teams, both written and verbal.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas), Salesforce administration, and familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Problem‑Solving: Proactive in identifying process gaps and recommending improvements.
- Engineering mindset: an appetite to understand complex engineering solutions and digital technologies.
- 3–5 years in a sales support, commercial operations, or sales analyst role within a B2B environment.
- Experience in the renewable sector (wind, solar or battery storage) is a major plus.
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM (reporting, dashboards, data quality management).
- Exposure to proposal/tender management and contract administration.
- Proven track record in sales reporting, forecasting, and revenue analysis.
- Experience working in global or multi‑regional teams is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
- Salesforce certification (Administrator or equivalent) is a strong plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
